The Body in Space

The Body in Space Book Cover

The poems in The Body in Space bring together people and places – family relationships enacted through webs of intimacy or distance, the dead remembered in interleaved images of art and medicine. They are poems concerned with the living presence of place, in particular the landscapes of Scotland and what is written over them by history. Here the living move through time and weather, making and remaking their own language in the music and silences of the page.
